The Pastabilities Are Endless when using a Pasta Machine

A lot of us probably think of blue boxes and yellow jars when we think about homemade pasta. But, ya'll, what if I told you that healthier, better tasting homemade pasta is just one $300 machine away? Ha ha, I kid. It's $25 dollars away and uses an old, tried and true machine called a pasta machine aka a pasta maker aka a dues ex pastina. You can buy an electric version for $300, but then you have to ask yourself is having the machine automatically cut different kinds of macaroni, spaghetti, and raviolis worth an extra $275. You be the judge.

They're awesome contraptions that do the hardest park of pasta making for you while enabling you to control what goes into your fettucine, not Wal-Mart. In this video, I set up my pasta maker and show you step-by-step instructions on how to use it to make pasta at home. For the sauce, I blended up left-over stew from my last recipe but you can use whatever you like.

The recipe in all of its complex glory is written below the video. Have fun.
